This food plan is designed to enhance your body's ability to detoxify. For the best results, carefully adhere to the Dietary Guidelines. Foods that are not listed under Food Choices should NOT be eaten


To be successful on your program, you need to be prepared. Take time today to learn what foods you will need for your program. You are more likely to stay on course if you make a shopping list and plan your meals for the week ahead and get rid of the foods that you have in the house that are not allowed on the plan and may tempt you. Use Organic whenever possible. To save time you can make several serving at the same time for future meals. To save money, look for sales at Whole Foods, Green Wise or Costco stores on organic foods and stock up and freeze what you can't use immediately.

Recipe to try:


Escarole and Bean soup.

Serves 6, 184 calories per serving


2 cups white kidney beans (canellini), canned or home cooked

1-2 cups kidney or red beans, canned or home cooked

1 cup garbanzo beans (chickpeas), canned or home cooked

2-3 cups fresh spinach or escarole, washed, drained, and chopped or 10 oz frozen shopped spinach

4 cups vegetable broth

2 medium onions, chopped

1 large garlic clove, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

Pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients and simmer about 45 minutes, until onions are soft
